GERD and mealtime

Hey guys. Whenever I eat I really cant eat things like chicken beef or stuffs that are more how do I say. Hard? Yeh, the reflux comes pretty quickly and then swallowing becomes difficult. But when I eat a poke bowl. Things go down pretty well. I cant eat much with chicken or meat. I can only eat a sandwich or a toast. Can someone tell me if they also experience this and how do you guys handle this
