A unbiased defense of bear

PLEASE TAKE NOTE the following text is NOT defending bear because of beliefs, political view, or anything else. FEEL FREE to correct me where I’m wrong. this is just me playing devils advocate

Many people say that bears main offense is sexually assaulting nikki. although the two times that nikki and bear have sex, are after a conversation with Ian where he states that ”nikki was probably on molly” and that was what was causing her erratic behavior. therefore he did not believe Nikki was under any sort of control or was not consenting. this is also enforced by the fact that evil nikki manipulated him saying that she was in fact, on drugs. therefore the following sex he believed was fully consenting. had he had sex with her before that conversation he would have had believed that she was under control of the one wish willow, because that was his original idea before the conversation with Ian.

another offense made by bear was his wish in general, which ive seen many consider selfish and even evil. he had made the wish in a rush, sure he was seemingly rejected by nikki and made the wish in the car right after, he said it rushed, and he didn’t even believe the one wish willow worked, similar to how ian said he wished for a billion dollars. he said it quickly believing it didn’t even work.

finally, many people say that he was acting cowardly and had opportunities to save his friends from being killed, but at a lot of times, he was extremely shell shocked and terrified by what he had seen. he witnessed Sarah get her head bashed in multiple times and brutally killed right in front of him. if any of you had witnessed I’m sure it would be just as traumatic. in conclusion wether bear was in the wrong is highly debated but he was in fact, cowardly and selfish. as per the fact that while nikki was speaking to bear telling him to kill her, and he said “would it be so bad to be with me?” showing he cared more about himself then her. but at the same time, he came to his senses and even attempted to kill himself, in order to save nikki, because ian used his wish on the money.
