Learning how to delegate baby duties

Advice

Hello! My husband and I have a 14 month old. Baby is the light of our lives. I was home with him for the first 10 months and it was absolutely amazing. Naturally, I took on most of the baby responsibilities. Everything he needs, I order, cook, coordinate etc. From his meals, to clothes, medicine, to toys/books. Dad helps with the day to day baby handling just great. No complaints. And he’s a wonderful dad. But yall know the mental load baby stuff?? I carried all of it.

Now I’ve been back to work full time for 4 months (baby is with the nanny now) and I still carry the same amount of mental load for our child. I’m overwhelmed and realize we never had a conversation about the division of baby related responsibilities once I went back to work full time.

My question is, how do you and your Significant Other divide the baby related work? I need to be able to offload something, I just don’t know what.

I was thinking he should manage nanny coordination, but he’s often forgetful and I don’t want the nanny to be paid late.
