How to handle greasy/stuck together looking hair after using minoxidil?

Help!

So I've been starting to implement some steps from the CGM into my routine but I cannot figure out one thing, how do I make the hair on the front top of my head and temples not look greasy/stuck together after the minoxidil dries?

Normally I would run my hand through my hair after it's dry and they would start looking normal but frizzy caused by me running my hand through it, but so far that's the only method I found to get rid of the weird look.

Is there something I'm missing or am I doomed to either have frizzy hair or no hair at all?

My (mandatory) routine is:

  1. wash my hair with Balicurls shampoo
  2. apply Balicurls conditioner
  3. comb with wide tooth comb
  4. rinse the conditioner off
  5. semi-dry by scrunching with microfiber towel
  6. apply Balicurls curl cream by scrunching it in
  7. blow dry with difuser
  8. apply minoxidil to the front top and temples
*when sleeping I use satin bonnet to protect the hair
*I do not do refresh routine
