If KC were a white man or a non-black man, the fandom of this show would be hyping them up and they would be the most popular couple. I’ve observed that the Love Island fandom are extremely biased towards black men.

If you watch these shows the fandom, especially the black female fandom are obsessed with black female/non-black male relationships. KC already got so much backlash for merely making a comment about Sol being a blessing, that was a huge overreaction by both Aniya and the fandom, people have been calling him a scammer for uplifting dark skinned black women, but if this was Nic or even Bryce they would have been hyping him up like crazy. KC is having to pay for all the stereotypes a lot of the fandom has against black men, which is something that no one seems to want to address. Not to mention that Aniya has placed at least 3 men over KC (Sincere, Sean, and Corbin). If KC had been the one to be interested in 3 light skinned/mixed women and then settled with Aniya the fandom would have honestly cyber-crucified him.
