Uber vs Cabfind for airport runs - part-time 18hrs/week, is Uber only worth it?

Part-time driver here, 18hrs/week alongside full time job. Currently Uber only for airport runs.

25% commission + 45min unpaid Heathrow queue = feels like I’m working for free.

Did the math on 5 runs:

Uber: £65 fare - 25% = £48.75, 2hrs 15min with queue

Cabfind: £68 fare - 10% = £61.20, 1hr 30min no queue

Cabfind = £12.45 more profit + 45min saved per run. That’s 3.75hrs saved on 5 runs.

For part-time drivers doing 15-20hrs/week:

  1. Is Cabfind steady enough on 18hrs/week or do I still need Uber for gaps?

  2. Real £/hour after commission doing part-time airport work only?

  3. Any catches with Cabfind for part-timers vs full-time drivers?
