Anyone ever played around with single note tunings?

I’m always experimenting with tunings on bass and guitar and am currently writing the bass part for a song I’ve been working on. The guitar is tuned to dgdggd and I try to really take advantage of the double g strings. For the fun of it I decided to tune my long scale bass to all g’s. It took a minute to get used to, but it’s a whole different way of adding bass lines and really using the rhythm to play them, being able to bar the fret and get 3 different voicing’s of the same note is really cool. Just wondering if anyone else had experimented with any similar tunings.
