Brake caliber rebuild/refresh?

My wife has a 2014 MINI Cooper with 60k miles. Made model, nothing special but she loves it. It’s due for new brake pads. I’m comfortable doing that job and have done it before on a MINI. Is it worth removing the calipers and refreshing the seals and things while I’m in there? We plan on keeping this car a very long time.

My concern is things breaking down because of time, not so much mileage.
