Tell me if I'm wrong
I use to really want to work at Domino's. It's been my favorite nostalgic pizza place since I was a kid. I applied for and got offered a job and almost took it but didn't for a few reasons. Reason number one before my first shift my GM guilt tripped me into taking an extra day, short shift. I told him I could only work Friday Saturday and Sundays and then he steps over that boundary before I even officially start and asks me to work Monday evenings 4 to 8:30 because he can't find a driver on Monday nights. He also said that as delivery driver I have to learn and know how to do the insiders jobs as well which included but wasn't limited to running cut table, helping on the line, answering and coming calls, helping walk-in customers, in addition to sweeping, mopping, running trash, folding boxes, and doing dishes, as well as doing my deliveries. "Because we're a team". All for $8 an hour up to $10 an hour with time on the job and raises.
This blew my mind on what a crock of dookie deal for me it was. So I declined the job. But it really put a damper on my love of Domino's. Is it like this at all locations? I mean the people at Little Caesars are making 15 bucks an hour or more Just making pizzas let alone having to run deliveries and do everything else This guy wanted me to do.
