Had to stop Zepbound due to potential damage to my eyes. Wondering if anyone has experienced/heard of symptoms like these.

I'm seeing circular, transparent shadows when I strain my eyes to the edge of my vision, when I close my eyes, and the effect is much stronger for about 30 seconds when I wake up in the morning. It's in both eyes, and never goes away.

And I say "potential" because, after a visit and a number of tests at my Opthalmologist, my opto informs me that there is nothing physically wrong with my eyes or optic nerve that she can see, my eyes are actually very healthy for someone who has been a type 1 diabetic for over 30 years. She then informs me that a small number of people are experiencing eye strokes and permanent vision loss while on Zepbound and encourages me to do some reading online and see if I can gather more info on my specific issue, which I have.

The two small studies done on eye damage as a result of semaglutide don't match my symptoms and I haven't been able to find any mention at all of this issue associated with Zepbound.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything remotely similar.
