Moving

Hi,currently I am living in Baden-Württemberg, but I feel that this area is exaggeratedly expensive. Even the people look to behave weird. Employees seem to try to take advantage of people, in any field, feels like they don't give a shit about your personal life which is important. My main question is, is anywhere in Germany worth moving? The employees are all the same or just in this area. Also, I can move to Switzerland, but I am afraid that they have the same mentality about their employees. I mean I want to have a good balance between my personal life and my work life, currently I have stupid hours when I start to work and stupid hours when I finish work. All day is gone unfortunately. So, is it worth moving to another area of Germany or just to go and move in Swiss?
