Sanity Check before applying
Hey y'all,
I'm applying for citizenship by descent. I have been waiting months and now have all the documents I need, I believe, for my application. However, I've seen many people starting threads, as well as a megathread, regarding having their certificates revoked. I'm just sanity checking that nobody else that has submitted something like this has had any issues regarding approval.
G0: BAnQ Baptism Record with BAnQ seal, 1890, Quebec
G1: Certified Longform Birth Record from Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Archive. Lists solely the last name of G1, anglicized G0 name and lists Canada as G0 birth location. First name supplemented by letter from Secretary of the Commonwealth.
G2: Certified True Copy Rhode Island Birth Certificate from 1940s, listing full maiden name and location of birth of G1
G3: Certified True Copy of Birth Record fron another state. Shows G2 full name and birth location.
G4: My Certified True Copy Longform from yet another state, shows G3 birth location, maiden name, etc.
G5: My child's Certified, Long Form German Birth Record with Certified Translation. Shows me as a parent, where I'm from, etc. I can't use CRBA from US as my ex has that, and getting an extra is like $50 and I have to drive 2+ hours to the consulate.
Any advice, as this is all I have from official sources and will not be mailing unofficial source information. There is no recorded naturalization of my G0, I dont have census records as I'm not going to just print some records off and risk having uncertified records as justification for having to return a certificate.
All documents came from either BAnQ with certification, or a state with a seal or watermark indicating a true copy or original
