first projector buying advice wanted
I'm looking to buy my first projector, and since I often get stuck/overwhelmed when it comes to new tech, wanted to ask for advice. Here are my specifics:
- Only non-smart projectors that will stay functional for a long time
- Needs to be easy to use
- needs to work with 230 v
- Hoping for built in speakers and blue tooth compatibility to watch with headphones, or if not, the right jack to plug something in to make it apple blue tooth compatible, and the jack to plug in a laptop or if not, an external streamer device
- hoping to avoid black plastic exterior
- Maximum budget: $2,999
- Screen size: flexible, slash I struggle to understand how all of this works. Whatever size would be best for my set up is fine, it will be a huge improvement over a laptop screen
- Distance from preferred mounting position to screen wall: renter who can’t stay where I live longterm, but here the open layout living room could have 13 ft 1 inch, a little more, or less (I could put the device on an air purifier instead that’s on wheels)
- Seating distance to screen: could be 7 ft 2 inch, or further back if needed
- Mount: kitchen counter in open layout kitchen/living room, or I could use an air purifier that's on wheels
- Usage: Movies, TV, YouTube, Sports – gymnastics, world cup
- Room type: Mixed use room, but am a renter with no idea what the setup will be in my next residence, so I need a flexible option
- Lighting: hoping for a projector that can be used both with some lights on and with blackout curtains depending on the day
- Room colors, Walls, Ceiling, and floors: currently white walls and ceiling, light brown wood floors, but again, I am a renter with no idea what my next setup will be
