Dut and minoxidl, not sure whether to start

Basically been on fin by itself 8 years now, started 25, 33 now. Bodged haircut at the Turkish barbers, hit me hard with the thinning scissors and i look badly thinning on top now, which tbf ive never really noticed. I can see loads of scalp so gotta be thinning a bit. Is it worth switching to dut and min, are these more effective than fin? Fin has kept me stable around an nw2. Not sure what to do here and would like some advice
