Heads up to anyone taking the Kennedy westbound on 90 toward O’Hare this morning: congratulations, you’ve been selected to participate in Chicago’s favorite game show: So You Thought You Had Three Lanes?

Construction cones have graciously funneled the entire expressway down to ONE lane, which is fine, totally fine, very normal. And the best part? You’ll finally reach the end of this half-mile parade of orange barrels only to discover… absolutely nobody working. Not a hard hat. Not a vest. Not even a guy leaning on a shovel. Just cones.
