Why is this sub so against a Jaylen centered package for Giannis ?

I feel like I’m being gaslight by many but I can’t seem to find people who think a Jaylen centered trade for Giannis would be worth it for the Celtics .I know a Giannis trade won’t fix all our problems but I do think replacing brown with Giannis and anyone else traded with one of our rookies will make the Celtics better

My first argument is that it should be obvious that Giannis is not only better than Jaylen but he is also better than Jayson as well . This dude can give you 30-31 ppg On over 60 fg % every game while snagging 11-12 rebounds all while providing elite defense . Not only is he a better scorer than both of the jays but also a better defender than both of them . Brad Steven’s made it obvious that he wanted more rim pressure and Giannis is exactly that while the jays did put some rim pressure they rely more on jumpers and there rim pressure is not elite like Giannis is . This dude is a 2 time mvp while winning a dpoy in one of those and over 10 all nba selections . Argue all you want but Giannis is a 25-30 all time .

My second argument hear is people potentially scared about Giannis injury history and while he does have a past I don’t think it’s as bad as people make out to be . Giannis hasn’t suffered a major injury like a Achilles tear or acl just setback injuries like calf issues or knee injuries and I think a major reason why he got those was he trying very hard to keep Milwaukee competitive and never really had a chance to take a game off for like load management reasons . Listen if you believe Tatum will come back just a strong from an Achilles tear I don’t think it’s a far reach to think Giannis will enter the next season just as healthy from those less minor injuries and even if they reappear next season we could load manage him and make sure he is healthy for the playoffs as he would have the privilege to take games off in Boston comapred to Milwaukee

My final comments is that Brad isn’t scared to make changes he knows it a business . How many times are we going to be favorites against an east team just to loose in embarrassing fashion . Went down 0-3 against a 8th seed and major changes happened that offseason . We blew multiple 20 points leads in 2024 and got embarrassed and while 2025 was suppose to be a gap year there is no excuse for blowing a 3-1 lead .Major changes need to happen and blowing the jays up for Giannis I think is worth it . Obviously none of this is guarantee and Giannis could be simply traded to a different team or stay in Milwaukee and we run it back with the jays and I’m not to sure how the salary situation would look but if the chance is there for Brad I want him to go for it .

These are my thoughts on why I think Giannis should come to Boston and I would love to hear your thoughts on if we should trade Jaylen brown for Giannis or just run it back with him .
