How to make it so I only see subs I've joined?

I swear I used to have a setting turned on so that my feed was exclusively the subreddits i've actually joined, but lately I've been getting recommended posts from other subs. I've scoured settings but I can't figure it out. I'm on the app. Is the option just gone?
