Hello everyone,

I wanted to share my current AM4 rig with you all. I’ve been evolving this build over the last few years, making incremental upgrades along the way, and I’m finally at a point where I consider it "complete."

Since it's packed into a tight setup and used for heavy workloads, I spent a lot of time fine-tuning the thermals and power consumption. I managed to get both the CPU and GPU running cooler and quieter without sacrificing performance:

* **CPU Undervolt:** For the **Ryzen 9 5900X**, I used Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) and dialed in a **Curve Optimizer setting of -15** on all cores. This kept the clock speeds high while significantly dropping the peak temperatures. Cinebench 2024 SC - 100pt, MC - 1252pt.
* **GPU Undervolt:** The **RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition** is notorious for running hot, so I modified the voltage/frequency curve in MSI Afterburner. It's currently locked at **0.875V at 1830MHz** (or *adjust this to your exact stable frequency, e.g., 1800MHz/1900MHz*). Power draw dropped noticeably, and the fans no longer sound like a jet engine. Cinebench 2024 15544pt.

Here is the full spec list:

* **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
* **Motherboard:** ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PRO
* **RAM:** 64GB (4x16GB) Kingston FURY RGB DDR4-3600MHz
* **GPU:** NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition (with a direct 12VHPWR cable)
* **Storage:** 1TB Samsung 980 PRO & 1TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus
* **PSU:** Corsair RM850x
* **Cooling:** Corsair iCUE LINK H150i AIO + 3x Corsair QX120 RGB fans
* **Peripherals:** Wooting 80HE Keyboard & SteelSeries Rival 600 Mouse

The combination of the liquid cooler and the undervolting keeps the whole system incredibly stable and quiet, even during long gaming sessions or rendering tasks.

Curious to hear from other 5900X or 3080 Ti owners—what kind of curves or undervolts are you running on your silicon?
