Question about Quick Service Dining Plan: it's use, who controls the credits, and children with an adult plan.
Family of four: two adults, two kids both 10+, so on adult tickets.
We will have the QS dining plan during our stay and in order to plan best use of it, I have the following questions:
-
As a family, when we use credits do they all come out of the one family pool of credits? So it won't matter whether I use my magicband, my wife's or my daughters', when we get a snack/meal it just reduces the family's stock of credits. Or do I have my allocation, my wife has hers, and both my kids have theirs, so if I scan my magicband at a QS place a whole family's meals, they all come out my allocation, so at some point later we have to start using another band to scan? So, in summary is it: big family pool of credits, or individual family member allocation of credits?

As my kids are 10+ they are on the adult dining plan. When ordering meals, can ALL the meals (at QS points that serve alcohol) come with alcoholic drinks? While we won't let our kids drink them, it'll get us parents more value, and we can just buy soft drinks for our kids separately. Or is there separate allocation within the system where half our QS credits are "under 21 adult" credits and the other half are "over 21 adult credits", and so half won't allow an alcoholic drink to be taken with a QS meal?
Thanks!
