Do you think unspoken feelings are more real than relationships themselves?

:discuss: Discussion

Kabhi kabhi sochta hoon, hum life mein jo bhi karte hain, wo zyada tar expectations ke saath hota hai, par jo emotions hum quietly apne dil ke kone mein rakhte hain wo sabse real hote hain. Like when someone admires a flower without expecting anything in return, that moment feels complete. Maybe pyaar bhi kuch aisa hi hona chahiye na kisi reciprocation ki umeed, na kisi label ki zarurat. Jaise ek chhoti si baat ya ek memory, jo humhe khud se zyada kisi aur ke saath judi mehsoos hoti hai, but still it belongs only to us. It’s strange, isn’t it? ki hum saalon tak kisi ke baare mein sochte rehte hain bina unse kuch kahe bina unse kuch expect kare. Shayad ye jo silent emotion hai, wahi humari life ka sabse real part hota hai. Baaki sab sirf ek illusions h that we create to align with the world’s expectations.

Translation:

Sometimes I think that most of what we do in life is driven by expectations, but the emotions we quietly keep tucked away in a corner of our hearts are the most real. Like when someone admires a flower without expecting anything in return—that moment feels complete. Maybe love should be something like that too; no expectation of reciprocation, no need for a label. Like a small thing or a memory that feels more connected to someone else than to ourselves, and yet it belongs only to us. It's strange, isn't it? That we can think about someone for years without ever saying anything to them, without expecting anything from them. Maybe this silent emotion is the most real part of our lives. Everything else is just an illusion that we create to align ourselves with the world's expectations.
