Why is Taylor Swift pushing Sombr as her prodigy?

Taylor is clearly pushing Sombr as her prodigy. His music in no way relates to hers and he hardly has the personality to match the tag team in the way Sabrina Carpenter and Ice Spice did.

Could this be curated PR timing given Olivia Rodrigo, who famously has beef with Taylor, is blowing up? It might’ve painted Taylor in a negative light if Olivia was succeeding to her level and Taylor has no other “predecessor” to give her attention to.
