When does “Modern” SML start?

I remember back in 2020 where “modern” SML was anything after Jeffy was introduced. But now in 2026, “classic” SML is anything before the Nintendo incident, including the videos with Jeffy!

Also, during 2014 and 15, Junior and Chef Pee Pee were getting heat for being in EVERY video, and people wanted variety

Also when Mama Luigi died in 2009, people were still requesting him to be in videos well after his demise.
