Trying to learn malayalam. Any help ? Athra arayilla pakshe korcho samsarikya pattum

I'm a telugu. While trying to speak malayalam i tend to drift off into tamil which is another language I'm learning. I understand and speak tamil to a higher degree than malayalam and since they are similar i tend to mix it up. How can i avoid this? Please correct my malayalam in comments
