Conceiving after miscarriage question

I’m posting to see if anyone has any insights here. My clinic is basically the only option in my immediate area and they are supposed to be great but I also feel like getting any information out of them is like herding cats.

I’ve had two transfers - both ended in missed miscarriages, the first might’ve been a chemical or could’ve been an early, the second was an early miscarriage. Both ended before 6 weeks and I was able to pass them naturally (no D&C or meds needed). after this second they’ve said they want to book me for a saline ultrasound after my next cycle starts to check that my uterus has healed (they didn’t do that after the first).

My infertility is tubal (one tube removed because of hydrosalpinx, the other showed fully blocked on an HSG).

My question is they asked me not to try for natural pregnancy this cycle, but gave no explanation why (typical). I’m torn here. The odds of me conceiving naturally are completely minuscule to the point where using any BC method even pull out seems ridiculous, but also if there’s even a one in a million chance I could conceive naturally before having to go into a third transfer I would obviously not want to miss that chance unless it could be dangerous. I‘m going to send an app message to the nurse but I also get frustrated that they seem to think I’m extra for asking questions (when I’m paying them a small fortune and don’t have a baby from it I really want an answer if I’m going to skip a cycle of “trying”).

Has anyone been in my shoes and know why that would be the suggestion?
