I got tired of using 5 different tools to manage freelance projects… so I built my own SaaS.
As a freelancer, I found myself constantly switching between multiple tools just to manage a single client.
One tool for projects.
Another for tasks.
A third for invoices.
Spreadsheets for tracking progress.
And endless messages trying to keep clients updated.
It felt messy, expensive, and disconnected.
So around a few months ago, I decided to build AuraFlow.
AuraFlow is a client and project management platform built specifically for freelancers and small agencies.
Current features include:
• Client Management
• Project Management
• Kanban Task Boards
• Invoice Generation
• Client Portals
• Project Sharing Links
• Activity Logs
• Subscription Management
• Multi-Workspace Architecture
One of my favorite features is the Client Portal.
Instead of sending dozens of updates manually, clients can open a secure project link and instantly see:
- Project progress
- Current tasks
- Invoice status
- Payment confirmation requests
The journey wasn't easy.
The backend was rebuilt multiple times.
I redesigned large parts of the architecture.
I implemented strict multi-tenancy, activity tracking, invoice workflows, subscription management, file storage, and deployment infrastructure.
Over the last few days I've been focused on the final stage:
• Bug fixing
• Security audits
• Performance testing
• Subscription testing
• Deployment preparation
• Final production validation
We're now extremely close to launch.
I'm looking for a small group of early users who would like to test AuraFlow before the public release.
As a thank-you, early testers will receive a special 3-month discount coupon when the platform launches.
If you're a freelancer, agency owner, or someone who manages clients regularly and would like early access, comment:
"Interested"
and I'll reach out once testing access is available.
I'd also love to hear your feedback on what features you think are missing from modern freelancer management tools.
