Buyer advice

Is it better to purchase tickets last minute so prices decrease? Or purchase tickets a week before the game? I’m planning to attend Jordan vs. Algeria on June 22. Also I’m so confused there are so much scams and negative comments about third party sites like StubHub or TicketMaster, unsure which one is legit and real. So I think it’s best to originally buy tickets from the FIFA site. Advice please!
