I got this sculpt just to check out the 2025/ 2026 Budget Barbies. Her face is pixelated as is to be expected of a Mattel doll in this price range. The hair is poly and not ideal but it feels soft(ish) and  looks nice in a ponytail.

The face doesn’t quite match the body I’m using but it’s close enough for me.

As an entry level/ budget black Barbie I’m very impressed. Her makeup isn’t completely terrible for a black doll, and she has a kind, pretty, friendly, and open face making her appealing to little girls.

She looks SO good as a tennis player.

My phone takes nice pics in natural light but doesn’t do that well with artificial light so I like taking pics during the daytime where possible. I tried doing some action shots but I’m still getting the hang of balancing her on the saddle stand - I think the pics portray what I was trying to go for though.

I’m definitely donating her to a little girl since I prefer my dolls a bit older looking but I’m glad I upgraded her body.

Extra thoughts:

Honestly she reminds me more of a Disney princess than a fashion doll. She’s kinda giving black animated Ariel - think of Ariel’s facial features from the original animated movie - large expressive eyes, friendly smile, cute button nose etc. Makes me wonder what a white Carnaval sculpt with red hair would look like.
