Just finished up with episode 8

I just watched episode 8 of from and what i cant grasp is that what is the deal with the man in yellow , I mean i feel like I have never been more confused regarding this show
The man in yellow came and met ethan's mom and told her that two things might happen if they dig out the bones , so he wants them to dig up the bones or not ?

Another things is the thing that happened with Victor's dad , what is the possible "anchor" that is mentioned , is it Victor
Maybe the man in yellow is trying to make his dad kill victor by showing him false illusions
idk its just a normal guess

And another thing that i've felt is that father khatri in boyd imagination is trying to lead him to inevitable destruction , instead of helping him !
