What if WE become the final target in GTA Online?

:DIS1::DIS2::DIS3::DIS4::DIS5:

I have a theory for what could work as a “final” GTA Online update.

Instead of another huge heist, imagine Rockstar turning the player into the target.

Mr. Faber makes a deal with the FIB. After years of building an empire, owning businesses, doing jobs for everyone and basically becoming untouchable in Los Santos, the Online protagonist becomes a liability.

Franklin contacts you first and explains something is wrong. Michael comes back because he realizes this isn’t just another score. Dave Norton also returns, maybe not as active FIB anymore, but still with enough connections to know what’s happening.

The update becomes a series of setup missions where you survive raids, destroy evidence and hit Faber’s network before they erase you completely.

Near the ending, Trevor finally shows up after being absent most of the story. He casually mentions he’s been building connections in “a very wet city on the east coast” and helps create enough chaos for your escape.

Then comes one last unexpected favor.

Martin Madrazo arranges a plane.

No big speech, no explosions.

Your character looks at the plane.

Madrazo just says:
“There’s a city with rain, money and people who lie with a smile. Stay there until things calm down.”

Before boarding he tells you:
“Los Santos isn’t going anywhere. Come back whenever you want. Just keep a low profile.”

The plane takes off.

One last look at Los Santos just like when you first arrived.

Black screen.

GTA Online Continue Playing.

This way Rockstar gives GTA Online an ending without actually ending it, and quietly sets up the next era.
