Immersive games and burnout
A majority of us experience it, (if you don't hopefully you never will), the burnout aspect of playing video games. I love video games, they are a great source of escapism and a way to explore so many different stories, themes, mechanics, ideas etc. the list goes on and on and on, but here's where the problem lies, how do you find time to actually invest and get moved by a story?
Maybe a better question, I am looking for a game that isn't bloated by an open world but find good ways to invest in the character. I don't mind some open world similar to expedition 33 (which was the last game I was really invested in the characters). I more have time for linear open world like 007.
Any thoughts queries and opinions?
