Jester Satoru and Prince Geto in a medieval palace full of corruption!! Hope it’s ok to share an update:

“Tell me to stop,” Satoru said.

Suguru’s eyes held his. “You said that before.”

“And you did not.”

“No.”

“Try now.”

It should have sounded arrogant. It did not. It sounded like control sharpened into permission again. Like Satoru refusing to let the court’s habits enter the room with them.

Suguru lifted his hand and caught Satoru’s wrist.
For one heartbeat, they were still.
Then Suguru pulled him in.
