New to transfer partners; How can I maximize 150k Venture X miles?

I have about 150,000 Capital One Venture X miles and would like to take my significant other on an international trip from the U.S. in August.

I've always used the travel eraser feature because it's simple, but I'd like to learn how to maximize the value of my miles through transfer partners. I'm completely new to transferring points and could use some guidance.

We're flying from BWI, DCA, or IAD, are flexible on dates and destinations, and are open to the Caribbean, Central America, South America, or other locations.

If you were in my shoes, how would you use 150k Venture X miles for two people? Any recommended destinations, airlines, transfer partners, or redemption strategies?

I don't mind paying some cash for taxes and fees if the redemption value is worth it.

I'd appreciate any advice or examples of trips you've booked with a similar amount of points.
