Spots to park at overnight

G’day! im in a situation where I may need to live in a car for a little bit . The situation is buying a car vs finding a house to rent. It would make more sense to buy a car and live in it but I have zero idea on where I could park up for the night and get some sleep without the worry of being towed . I know there are places but I don’t know where exactly . Cheers
