Has anyone noticed that the Knicks and Thunder are constructed very similarly?

Jalen/SGA: Score-first point guard adept at going downhill in the half court and drawing contact in the lane and/or pulling up from mid range for a fadeaway jumper. Both have elite footwork. Both wear braids albeit different styles.

Caruso/Hart: High-level roleplayer hustle/glue guys with elite defensive instincts. Not known for their three point shooting but will make you pay if your game plan is to leave them open. Both wear headbands.

Ogugua/Jaylen Williams: Big body three level scorers who do it all for their teams and can guard 1-5. Elite versatile athletes, elite perimeter defenders, elite secondary scorers.

KAT/Chet: Big men with unique ability to stretch the floor but also decent at scoring inside. Both Dominican.

Hartenstein/Robinson: Secondary big men known for rebounding. Both “enforcers” for their teams.

Both teams had success with their secondary guards this off-season. McCain/Mitchell and Shamet/Alvarado.
