Any other gay guys think it's hard being a gay into ABDL?

I (45M) know abdl in general is very queer friendly/queer-adjacent. But at the end of the day I find the number of ABDL guys who want to be with other ABDL guys in a committed loving relationship to be very few. And the search for a daddy/little dynamic seems to have taken precedence over the search for a loving relationship.

I guess I am just venting because for the first time ever I got to really express my abdl side with another abdl​ I liked a lot but he went running and screaming from a romantic relationship and now things are over between us. I wouldn't say I'm hopeless exactly and I don't have to be with a fellow abdl to be happy, but especially after attending Capcon last year it really opened my eyes to it seems like there are not as many of us as I thought.
