Just met Dan on a flight

As the title says, I noticed the Wapta 30 first as I’ve got one myself, when I looked up to see the owner, I was surprised that it was Dan! Call me a nerd, but it felt like meeting a celebrity.

I’ve always an admired how engaged he is with folks online, but I have to say that he’s as cool and nice in person as you’d think he is. He’s super gracious, and was happy to talk about gear and business. But what really impressed me was, he genuinely wanted to talk about hikes and trips too! He really does love the lifestyle and has a great amount of knowledge.

His gear sells itself, love my bag and tent, but it’s feels great knowing it comes from someone like Dan.
