what was the ending difference?

as the title says; ive heard a lot of ppl say the manga messed up kinda cus the ending was very different from the manga (ik it was running ahead of the manga?) but what was the difference? i was probably blind reading the manga cus i finshed 150+ chs and all the light novels in 3 days time but yeah please help me by pointing out the difference
