Was told off by a woman for being in a park

for context i literally just finished my gcses (my final one was today) so me and my friends went to the local park for a while

i was just on the swings with my friends in the park and we were taking turns pushing each other. suddenly this woman comes up to us with her child beside her and then she told us that were too old for parks and that its "no wonder the equipment keeps breaking". it was such a weird interaction and i cant even remember most of what she said but my friend was barking back at her the whole time while me and my other friend were just watching it all go down

im not sure why some adults think that teenagers go to parks with malicious intent but it really wound me up. teenagers have no where to go anymore and its also infuriating that social media is being restricted in the uk (even a curfew for 16-17 year olds). has anyone had any similar experiences?
