2024 ECE Graduate Struggling to Get Interviews - Need Advice

Hi,

I'm a 2024 ECE graduate. I started preparing for software roles in June 2025. So far, I've completed 2 MERN stack projects and learned DSA with Python and SQL.

Despite applying to many openings, I've only gotten 2 interview opportunities.

A few questions:

- How are freshers landing interviews in the current market?

- Which job portals or platforms are actually working for you?

- Where are you finding openings that genuinely respond to applications?

- How do you reach out to startups for opportunities? Do you contact founders, recruiters, or employees directly?

- Any suggestions to improve my job search strategy?

Any advice, leads, or experiences would be really helpful. I'm feeling a bit stuck and would love to learn what has worked for others.

Thanks in advance!
