What laptop should I buy?

I need a laptop that's good for school but also able to run some simple games well like The Sims 4, Minecraft, and others. My absolute max budget is $450 but I would prefer to stay around $300 if it's possible. I've googled this and found a few options, but I'd like to hear what the experts say about my specific situation!
