How valuable is an LL.M. for getting a job in Corporate Law or IP Law?

Advice/Guidance

I'm considering pursuing an LL.M., particularly with the goal of working in Corporate Law or Intellectual Property Law. However, I'm unsure how much value an LL.M. actually adds when it comes to employability.

Does having an LL.M. significantly improve job prospects in these fields?

If it isn't very important, is the impact negligible, or does it still provide some advantage?

Since most LL.M. programs only take around 9–12 months, is it worth the investment of time and money?

How much does the university's reputation matter compared to simply having an LL.M. degree?
