Tried Bingsu and the Acai Bowl at Snowberry in Jubilee Hills – honest review
Just went to Snowberry with my sister and mom and tried their Bingsu + the Strawberry Acai bowl.
Bingsu is that Korean shaved ice dessert with toppings + boba. Since it's shaved ice, the texture wasn't as smooth as expected, but it was really light. I think you can't have a lot of this stuff.
My mom hated it since we are normally used to having creamyyyy ice creams.
What we ordered:
Big Bean Bingsu (Coffee + Hazelnut) – the flavour wasn't great either, kinda meh overall.
Biscoff Bliss Bingsu – this one was really good. The base and the toppings were both great and was the highlight of our visit.
Also had the Strawberry Acai bowl. Felt like a healthy homemade fruit yoghurt bowl – got chia seeds and hung curd in it. It's basically a high-fibre dessert, so if you're looking for something lighter and healthier compared to all the processed stuff this is worth it. Would recommend it for that.
Overall: I recommend visiting once to try something new and see if this works for you. Also, the other stuff like waffles looked good too.
