I just wanted to share a small milestone that means a lot to me.

My app recently crossed **2,000 downloads in just 2 months**, and this is actually the **first app I've ever built**.

To be honest, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing when I started. I didn't know what RevenueCat was, had never heard of ASO (App Store Optimization), didn't understand subscriptions, onboarding, retention, or any of the things indie developers seem to know.

I was (and still am) learning everything as I go. Most days were just Googling errors, watching random YouTube videos, reading Reddit threads, and figuring things out through trial and error.

There were plenty of moments when I thought nobody would ever download it. Seeing strangers use something I built from scratch is honestly surreal.

I know 2,000 downloads isn't huge compared to many success stories here, but for someone who started as a complete beginner, it feels like a massive win.

Now the next goal is to turn this into a real business and reach **$2,000 MRR**.

If you're a beginner thinking about building your first app, this is your sign to start. You don't need to know everything on day one. You'll figure it out along the way.

Happy to answer any questions about the journey so far.
