No registry needed for house in small village

I have ancestral house in small village in MP. For agricultural land , it seems registry is needed. But houses are just in patwari record. Is this true ? How can I check if house in on my father's name.

We living in city from long time. How can I ensure no else change patwari document in absence.

My house is not good condition so no one lives there.
