Chandigarh University made an absolute mockery out of their students

I am a 3rd yr Btech CSE student in Chandigarh University and what they did to their students this time is beyond evil.

First of all at the start of our 4th semester there were 2 MNG (mandatory non graded) subjects which are Aptitude (4 credits) and Soft Skills (2 credits).

The whole semester they kept carrying on with this course plan and had no issues with it. Our teachers had also informed us that these subjects are non-graded and you only need to pass in these subjects with 50% of total marks. Because of this, students did not focus on these subjects that much because whatsoever those weren't affecting our CGPA.

Now the results came, and they played their move. They switched, telling us that now the subjects are graded and that those will affect your CGPA. Mind you Aptitude is of 4 credits and it's the highest credits subject along with another one and they keep on to announce that now it's graded because these are DCPD subjects? What the hell!! So many students lost their scholarships because the criteria is of 7.5 CGPA or above and they exactly wanted that. And even the teachers who kept on saying that those subjects were non graded now are silent, and are saying that nothing can be done and it'll stay as it is.

And the cherry on top is that after many complaints and requests for clarification, they reply that it was the course plan of Automobile Engineering and not Computer Science Engineering. Like they had whole 6 months to correct their mistake and change the course plans but they did not, and now they are shifting the blame on students. That it's our fault, we didn't see the Automobile Engineering written on top and now we're all f**ked up because of our mistake.

There's more to what else they've done to us and are being very unfair. But if someone can suggest what actions we should take in order to secure our GPA and prove them wrong it'll be very helpful.
