Concerning experience in hospo

I had a really uncomfortable experience at Oven Door Bakery in Wanneroo last week and I’m not really sure what to do with it.

While I was there, I overheard someone in the back making explicit and inappropriate jokes about a young female staff member. When she came out to serve me, she seemed visibly uncomfortable, and the whole thing honestly left a really bad impression.

I’m not posting this to send anyone after the business or encourage people to leave reviews. I just found it really upsetting to witness and it made me concerned about how young staff might be treated in some workplaces.

Has anyone else ever seen something like this as a customer, and is there an appropriate way to report concerns like this without making things worse for the employee?
