Should i restart my day?

I was playing earlier but had to exit the game. I slept so it would save but when I opened the game I woke up on the same day so all my progress didn’t save. Maybe a glitch?

I brought more than 30+ omnigeode and frozen geode and got a prismatic shard. Now, I tried having Clint open them again and lost it!! :( Should I just restart and try again?
