I (F22) need some advice about what my bf (M26) just told me

So ik I’ve posted here a few times about him, lol. But I am at a loss of what to do and need advice from ppl who don’t personally know us.

He told me last night that in 2028 he will b active duty for military. He already told me next year (2027) he’s going on deployment again. Thing is I am all willing to wait and will b here waiting for his return always. If any military ppl here can explain a bit more on active duty, please do! Ik u can b stationed anywhere but is that like all the time?

Anyways, my question is, what do I do? Ik how my mental health is and ik im going to worry constantly. I hate to say it but I’m slightly dependent on our messages bc it’s our only form of contact obv bc we r LD. But my day won’t b horrible if I won’t get a message, if that makes sense. Ik im gonna overthink and ik that ik that there is gonna b times where I won’t hear from him for a while. I do want to make it work but im worried if my mental health can handle it. Idk what to do.
