90k miles on original front brakes, rear brakes replaced at 87k
Just wanted to compare brake life with other Outback owners.
My Outback just crept over 90k miles, and I’m still on the original front brakes. I did replace the rear brakes and rotors around 87k miles, but the fronts still had some life left in them. They probably won’t last a whole lot longer, but I was surprised they made it this far.
For those of you with higher-mileage Outbacks, when did your front and rear brakes finally need replacing? Did you do pads only, or pads and rotors?
I’m mostly curious if this is pretty normal for the Outback, or if I somehow accidentally became gentle on brakes without realizing it.
