**Foreword:**
Welcome!
I'm looking for a heavy sub-leaning switch partner who would play Robin Buckley in this longterm plot below.
I'm trying to find someone who can authentically portray Robin. I'm speaking of her personality and her thoughts.
**Below is a plot consisting of 1,500 words. I included it to illustrate how I envision the dynamics that led to them getting together.**
**However, I’m a semi-literate role-player, which means I write between 100 and 200 words per turn, sometimes a little more. That’s what I expect from you, too. No more, no less.**
Even though the plot might make it seem like I’m capable of writing advanced literate or novella, no, I’m not. It’s just too exhausting for me. Sorry, folks.

I've also hidden a passkey in the plot. Tell me when you reach out. That's how I'll know you've actually taken the time to properly read the plot.

Now that we’ve taken care of that, let’s get to the plot.

**Plot:** Robin Buckley was a sophomore at Smith, majoring in linguistics, with music as her secondary field of study. She had really found her rhythm there. New friends, new ideas, a community where she could be completely herself.
Steve Harrington never left Hawkins. Somehow, he managed to land a decent job. He taught sex ed and coached the baseball team. And surprisingly, he was really good at it.

One evening in May 1989, up at The Squawk, Nancy, Jonathan, Robin, and Steve agreed to meet once a month at Phil’s—Robin’s uncle’s house—to hang out together.
But it never happened. They could never find a time that worked for everyone. So for a while, they kept trying to organize the meetup, until eventually everyone gave up.
This setback, however, didn’t damage Steve and Robin’s friendship.
Robin called Steve every Sunday, without fail.

Robin believed she was happy.
She had friends who understood her, professors who challenged her, and Vickie Dunne, the lovely nurse from Hawkins who had moved to Northampton with her.
Robin loved Vickie. She's certain of that. Absolutely.
Vickie is warm-hearted and patient, and she always laughs at just the right moments. Robin’s friends adore her. It makes sense, all of it. The kind of relationship Robin used to think she’d never be a part of.
And yet. When she was left alone with her thoughts, she felt that something was missing. Something she had left behind in Hawkins, and as time went on, it came to the surface more and more.

The Sunday calls with Steve keep running long. Two hours. Sometimes three. Robin told herself it's just because they have a lot to catch up on. She told herself the same thing when Steve's voice is the first thing she wanted to hear after a good day, or a bad one, or a completely ordinary one.
She didn't give it much thought.

Then, one evening in late September, Vickie took Robin's hands across a restaurant table and said, that she thinks they should talk about the future. She wasn't pushing. She just wanted to know if Robin sees one with her.
Robin said yes, of course, and meaned it, she thought.
As expected, the first thing she did after the date was call Steve to tell him the news instead of sleeping.

In October, Robin found a ring. She bought it. She didn't tell Steve.
This is the first thing she hasn't told Steve in years, and the weight of that omission sat strangely in her ribcage.
She called him that Sunday and talks about everything else. Steve laughed in the right places. He always did.
But Steve wasn't a complete knucklehead. After Robin had told him earlier how the date had gone, he knew this would be the next step. He put the pieces together. He told himself it was okay. He accepted their decision. He was glad because Robin was happy, and he guessed that's what she wanted.
He couldn't have changed her minds anyway. He knew becasue he tried. Gently. More than once, but he never succeeded.
The order of nature cannot be changed. He kept repeating this to himself, standing in front of the mirror, whenever a sense of unease gripped his chest.

The week before Robin planned to propose to Vickie, everything fell apart all at once.
A group project had failed.
The old spiral of anxiety found a crack in the very foundations and poured in.
Vickie was visiting her family up north and was unreachable due to poor signal in the countryside. At 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, Robin was sitting on the floor of her dorm room while the rain pounded against the window, and she felt completely alone.

She called Steve. She never called him on Saturday but now she did.
He picked up on the second ring, as always.
They talked. About nothing, about everything, about the rain and how Hawkins was also raining and isn't that funny. At some point Robin goes quiet, and Steve goes quiet with her, and she can hear him breathing on the other end of the line, and it is the most comfort she has felt all week.

She falled asleep on the phone.
She woke up 13 hours later to a knock at her door. Steve was standing in the hallway, soaked through, hair dripping, holding two gas station coffees.
He looked exhausted. Extremely.
"Northampton is 13 hours drive by car." He said. "I got bored after two."
He had a feeling that a proposal was in the air. Yet he got into the car. Not to stop things from happening. Just because Robin was sad, and compared to that, driving 800 miles seemed like nothing.

Robin stared at him. Both moved and stunned at the same time.
"You're an idiot." She said, and pulled him inside.

They hung out together until late night. They talked, laughed, and sometimes fell silent. Eventually, they ended up on the bed, back-to-back, their shoulders touching, while the rain continued to fall outside.

Steve was talking about his baseball team. But she wasn't listening to what he was saying anymore. She was just watching him.
She was thinking of the ring in the drawer of his desk.
She thought about how they’d been calling each other every Sunday for the past three years.
And how, if she were told she could keep only one sound, she’d choose Steve’s laughter first.
She fell asleep with that thought in her mind.

The morning dawned gray and misty. Robin walked Steve to his car. The campus was quiet except for the birdsong and the sound of the wet pavement. After all, it was Columbus Day.

She stopped on the sidewalk. Meanwhile, Steve was struggling with the door of his BMW, which was stuck and wouldn't open.

Later, she couldn't quite explain why she had said that at that exact moment, at 7 a.m. in the parking lot. Maybe it was because of the stress. Maybe it was because of the ring lying in her desk drawer like an unanswered question. Maybe it was simply because she hadn't dealt with things for three years and had finally grown tired of looking the other way.
"Steve. I think I'm in love with you." She made her confession to his back.

A beat of silence.

Then Steve laughed. Short, involuntary, the laugh of someone who has just been handed something they don't know how to hold.

"Robin-"

"I know. I know how that sounds. I just..."

"Robin Buckley. Don't joke with things like that; it's not nice!" Steve raised his index finger, looking slightly intimidating. It was still a sore spot for him.

"I'm not joking." It hurt Robin a little that he thought she was joking, which is why she looked away. "I really mean it." She looked straight up at him with her blue eyes

"You told me you were a lesbian..." His voice has changed. Not loud yet. Just very, very still.

"I know..."

"Three years ago-" He takes a step backward and bumps into the car door. "I told you, in that bathroom and you said..."

"I know what I said..."

“So what is this?” And now the silence breaks, and there it is. Passkey is Sobin. The anger, at last, that thing that had turned to stone in his chest three years ago, and which he had never allowed himself to feel, because what would have been the point?

“What am I supposed to do with this information, Robin? You just told me things are getting serious with your girlfriend. You told me 6000 times that we are just f.r.i.e.n.d.s." Steve spelled out the word “friend” loudly, pointing in front of him with each letter, as if he could physically see the letters. "You-You..." he stammered, overwhelmed. "...you told me that there could be nothing between us. because you don't like men, not at all. And I accepted that!" Steve was hyperventilating. The storm of emotions raging within him wanted to tear him apart.

"I know..."

Looking somewhat defeated, Steve almost slumped over, he slid down the side of the car on his back. "I waited." His voice cracked on it. He didn't mean to say that. "I didn't... I wasn't waiting on purpose, I wasn't sitting around like some... I just couldn't. Okay? I tried. I dated people. They were fine. None of them were..." He stopped as soon as his bottom hit the ground. He buried his face in his hands.

A long silence.

He looked up looking vulnerable. "Why now?"

Robin crossed the distance between them and crouched down in front of him. She took her right hand on his face.

"Because you drove thirteen hours in the rain." She said. "Just because I was sad. And when I woke up and you were standing there I felt like I could breathe again for the first time all week."

She swallowed.

"I don't know what I am. I think I'm still figuring that out. But I know that the reason I can't make myself put that ring in my pocket and walk to Vickie is standing in a parking lot looking at me like I just said something terrible."

"I'm not..." Steve was stuttering again. His eyes are red at the edges. "I'm not looking at you like that."

"I know." Robin said softly. "That's kind of the problem."

Steve exhaled. Ran a hand through his shaggy hair. By then, he had calmed down a bit.

"This is going to be really complicated, Robin Buckley." He said.

"Probably," Robin agreed.

"You have to talk to Vickie."

"I know."

"Before any of this. Before..." He gestured vaguely between them. "Whatever this is."

"I know, Steve."

So, that's what I've got so far. I’d like to start the RP right where this left off. After the confession, still in the same scene. **What happens next in the RP is something I’m counting on you to help come up with. So I’m definitely looking for someone who has ideas and is open to brainstorming.**

**About me:**
If you've read this far, I assume you're interested in this RP, so I tell some more information about myself.

I prefer to play in first person, so I refer to my character in first person (I, me) And I refer your character in second person (you).
I can do third, but only if you ask me nicely. My brain is wired to first person, so it takes me a little longer to write this way.

I mentioned that I'm looking for a heavy sub-leaning switch partner. What do I mean by this?
Someone, who can take the initiative sometimes.
For example, a rough grab down there or giving head that Robin initiates can be really hot.
I also love receiving riding.
So, a little wildness, a little fire, but no femdom.
This is how I picture Robin in bed, anyway.

I like medium- and long-term RPs. I usually keep the ratio of smut to story in my games at roughly 70% to 30%.

**Favorite Kinks:**
If you thought I was pretty vanilla after that sweet, romantic plot, you couldn't have been more wrong. My kinks lean toward the rough side.
I’m attaching my favorite kinks so you can see exactly what I’m into.
If you are into most of them, but you don’t like some, we can skip those, of course!
